    Aston is an Australian classical pop group from Sydney formed in 2009. The band consists of members who all have come out of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music: Eliza Morrison (Violin), Michael Bennett (Violin), Hanna Oblikov (Cello), Will Henderson (Guitar), Ella Jamieson (Piano) and Daniel Luscombe (Percussion). Warner Music Group signed the band when their instrumental cover of Lady Gaga's Telephone went viral on YouTube and was viewed by more than 650,000 people in a month and became the most viewed Australian music video of the year.     Back in 2000, Amadeus, along with the Bond Quartet, were the first in the world to use an all-electric instrument array in order to achieve the perfect blend of classical and modern, thus actually creating a new musical style. Amadeus gained popularity in Romania first and very soon they went internationally. Until 2010, they released five record albums with a major label and performed around the world. Since then, Amadeus have been independent. The next ten years were filled with international tours and many successful music videos. These were mostly renditions of famous songs. In 2020 they released an anniversary album with original music, Joy. Amadeus' mission has always been bringing the youth close to classical music, inspiring them to start learning how to play an instrument.
