Sarah Chang

Born in 1980 in Philadelphia to Korean immigrant parents, she began playing the violin at the age of four and quickly showed a prodigious talent. By the age of eight, she had already performed with major orchestras, and her professional career was launched at the age of 10 with a debut performance with the New York Philharmonic.
