Tine Thing Helseth is a Norwegian trumpeter recognised internationally for her lyrical tone and expressive musicianship. A concerto soloist from an early age, she has performed with leading orchestras across six continents and built a reputation for championing both classical trumpet repertoire and contemporary works. Her artistry moves easily between solo, chamber, and ensemble settings, and she is also the founder of the all-female brass ensemble tenThing.
Helseth has received numerous awards, including the Norwegian Grammy “Newcomer of the Year” and honours at the Eurovision Young Musicians competition. Alongside her busy international touring schedule, she maintains an active recording career, with albums ranging from core trumpet concertos to more personal recital projects such as Seraph. With her warm sound and collaborative spirit, Tine Thing Helseth continues to bring the trumpet to new audiences around the world.
