    Javier Navarrete is a Spanish Academy Award-nominated composer of film scores. His most famous score, for which he received his Academy Award nomination, was for Pan's Labyrinth. Pan's Labyrinth was his second collaboration with Spanish director Guillermo del Toro, following the Mexican/Spanish Gothic Horror The Devil's Backbone in 2001.
