- Frank Dupree
Frank Dupree is a German pianist, conductor, and winner of the International Classical Music Award and Opus Klassik. - Serene Wang
Born in San Francisco in October 2004, Serena Wang began her piano journey at the age of four, first studying with Sumi Nagasama. By the age of five, she had already claimed top prizes in competitions such as the Bach Piano Competition at UC Berkeley and the Northern California Chinese Music Teachers’ Society competition. In 2010, she won gold in the Children’s Group at the 2nd National Youth Piano Competition in Xiamen, China. Her formal studies progressed under the guidance of esteemed teachers, including Zhaoyi Dan, Meng-Chieh Liu, and later Veda Kaplinsky and Robert McDonald at The Juilliard School Pre-College. Serena’s orchestral debut came at age six with Haydn’s Piano Concerto No. 11 in D major in Shenzhen. Since then, she has performed with leading ensembles such as the China Philharmonic, National Centre for the Performing Arts Orchestra in Beijing, Shanghai Symphony, Israel Philharmonic, Hong Kong Philharmonic, Vancouver Symphony, and New York Philharmonic. Her notable collaborations include performing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Shanghai Symphony under Zubin Mehta, playing alongside Martha Argerich in Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals under Charles Dutoit, and appearing as a featured soloist with the New York Philharmonic during their Lunar New Year celebration. Carlos Damas, born in Coimbra, Portugal in 1973, is an internationally acclaimed violinist recognized for his expressive style and refined interpretations. He began playing at the age of three and made his solo debut at fifteen with the Portuguese Radio Symphony Orchestra. His advanced studies in Paris under Jacqueline Lefèvre and Ivry Gitlis, as well as guidance from Yehudi Menuhin, shaped his artistry and launched his international career. Renowned for his interpretations of Fritz Kreisler, Damas has received high praise from leading classical music publications. He has also championed Portuguese composers, recording world premieres of works by António Fragoso, Luís de Freitas Branco, Fernando Lopes-Graça, and Sérgio Azevedo. - ConTempo Quartet
The ConTempo Quartet, founded in Bucharest in 1995, is made up of violinists Bogdan Sofei and Ingrid Nicola, violist Andreea Banciu, and cellist Adrian Mantu. Originally formed while the musicians were students, the ensemble later moved to Ireland in 2003, where they became Galway’s ensemble-in-residence and began a long-standing role in performance and education. The quartet has won numerous international awards and built a reputation for dynamic, imaginative performances. They have toured widely, playing in some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls, including Wigmore Hall, the Berliner Philharmonie, and Carnegie Hall, and have performed for figures such as Pope John Paul II and Nelson Mandela. - Daniel Hope
British violinist Daniel Hope has enjoyed a thriving international solo career for more than 35 years. Celebrated for his musical versatility and dedication to humanitarian causes, he has been recognized with a string of honors including the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and the 2015 European Culture Prize for Music. Besides undertaking solo recitals, chamber concerts, and concerto collaborations with the world’s leading orchestras and conductors, Hope also directs many ensembles from the violin, succeeding Sir Roger Norrington as Music Director of the Zurich Chamber Orchestra in 2016 and becoming Music Director of San Francisco’s New Century Chamber Orchestra two years later. Daniel Lozakovich (b. 2001) is a Swedish violinist who has quickly risen to international prominence as one of the most gifted classical musicians of his generation. Born in Stockholm to Russian and Kyrgyz parents, he began playing the violin at age six and made his concerto debut at just nine years old. Recognized early on for his prodigious talent, he went on to study with renowned teachers such as Josef Rissin and Eduard Wulfson, refining a sound admired for its depth, maturity, and emotional intensity well beyond his years. By his mid-teens, Lozakovich had already performed with leading orchestras including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre de Paris, and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, under the baton of conductors such as Valery Gergiev, Esa-Pekka Salonen, and Andris Nelsons.
